Bygdøy - the peninsula of museums

Bygdøy is a peninsula on the western side of Oslo where you find several of Oslo’s most popular museums. It is mainly a (wealthy) residential area, but in addition to the museums Bygdøy is also a popular recreational area during summer. Below just a few pictures of the nice houses (I simply do love those coloured wooden houses).
Also the Royal family appreciates this exclusive location and got a seaside villa here.
