Mama and Engelbert in Oslo

It had been (for some understandable reasons) a couple of years that my mum and Engelbert hadn't been to Oslo visiting me. Thus, I couldn't wait for them to come in September 2013 for a long weekend :-) It was such a pleasure having them here again, especially since they hadn't seen our new apartment yet where Marco and I moved nearly a year ago.
Showing them around the new neighbourhood, along the Akerselva.

A stroll along Aker Brygge...

...and the new quarter of Tjuvholmen with the outstanding building designed by famous Italian architect Renzo Piano, hosting the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art.

Meeting for an afternoon coffee (or rather smoothie) with my girls Jana and Audrey.
Up at the Holmenkollen ski jump.

Coffee time at Frognerseteren.

Guys!!! With a beer and crips watching soccer.

After the weekend it's already time for them to leave again. A short, but nice weekend.
Thanks, mum and Engelbert, for coming :-) Lovely to have you had here!
