Autumn weekend - Ekeberg & Sognsvann

First of all: happy birthday, amore mio :-) Auguri!!!
The weekend starts with Marco's birthday on Friday.
Saturday and Sunday were just some fantastic and beautiful autumn days.

First, on Saturday, we went to discover an area also I had never been to before: Ekeberg, on the East side of Oslo on a hill overlooking the town. We had wonderful weather which allowed for a perfect view over Oslo and the fjord.

The distinctive building on the Ekeberg hill, the former "Sjømannsskolen" (seamen/sailors school).

Ekebergpark.
Somewhere in the park stood this tree which totally impressed me!!! I think it's simply beautiful, how it is standing there all alone, with its beautiful warm autumn colours... and with that man with his dog sitting under it... This had something artistic for me. So excuse if I posted so many pictures of this tree.

Overview over Oslo and the area of Bjørvika which is currently undergoing a huge development.

On Sunday we then met up with the girls Jana and Audrey to enjoy a walk around Sognsvann, also dunked in the warm autumn colours of the surrounding trees.
