A little bit of summer 2014

Here just a little collection of some of this summer's impressions :-)

Oslo by night.

(13th May)

A day at Langøya island in the Oslofjord, having BBQ and relax.

(29th of May)

A proper summer needs a proper summer cake, for example typically with fresh strawberries, which I brought for our common "Friday fika" to the office.

(12th of June)

An outdoor concert by the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra in the park of Myraløkka.

(15th of July)

 Great moments: the 2014 Soccer World Chamionship held in Brazil.

Here, first game Germany-Portugal, public viewing at Kontraskjæret by the Akershus fortress together with Marco and some German colleagues and one Portuguese trainee.

(16th of June)

A very great evening (at least from a German's point of view): homemade pizza by amore mio, a beer (with coke) = very German, and last but not least a destructive 7:1 against the Brazilians - for which I did feel a bit sorry in the end.

(8th of July)

 

A wonderful start of a working day with breakfast on our sunny balcony.

(10th of July)

Sunbathing, swimming, BBQ and relaxing on Hovedøya, the main island in the Oslofjord.

(20th of July)

End of July we had invited some friends over for a game evening, including dinner - and dessert.

(29th of July)

All in all this was a fantastic summer, with amazing weather!!! So warm (even hot) over long periods! And Oslo really invites one to go out of the house, spend time outside, in a park, at some beach, at the lake, or at any other of the many nice places in and around town.

Don't really wanna think of summer being over now.
