Annually, in June, the
Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra organizes an open air concert in
Myraløkka Park in Sagene (Oslo). We had attended this event already the year before and it was nice. So we decided to have a look at it also this year. It's anyway just a 10 minute walk away from where we live and - at least when we left home - the weather was still pretty ok. This however changed during the concert, so we ended up folding crouching under the umbrella with the (from the bottom side water resistant) picnic blanket folded over our knees.
In the park we accidentally met my colleague Wiebke and her husband Øystein who had the same idea like us :-)
After the concert, we spontaneously decided to go for a short warm up drink together and found some dry place in a nearby café. Instead of just having a quick coffee/tea together and then leaving again, we ended up playing some card game until the staff had to kick us out to close the café :-)
What a spontaneous nice afternoon that was! Thanks Wiebke & Øystein :-)
