Their programme looked pretty good: Ålesund, Troll Road, Geiranger & Geirangerfjord with Skageflå, Bøverdal, Sognefjellet, glacier hike on the Nigardsbreen, Lustrafjord & Skjolden and interesting hotel visits all along the way.
On Thursday 27th I took a train from Oslo via the stunning Hardangervidda landscape to Myrdal and then with the famous Flåmsbana further on to the valley of Flåm where I arrived in the evening.
I had booked myself into an apartment at Flåm Marina.
The view from my balcony - not too bad :-)
Wealthy neighbours that night - namely the president of some famous British football club (can't remember now which one).
The next morning I was then joined by the others that had spent the night before in Marifjora on the other side of the Sognefjord. Together we went on a RIB boat safari on the Aurlandsfjord.
Around noon we took the scenic Flåm railway up to Myrdal where we hired some mountain bikes to cycle all the way back down to Flåm - a fantastic bike ride which is part of the Rallarvegen cycling tour, not very difficult and offering beautiful scenery.
In the afternoon we make our way to Myrkdalen to spend the night at the hotel there. On the road, some 12 km away from Voss, we stop by Tvindefossen which has the reputation for rejuvenation if you drink from its water...
On Saturday we head towards the Hardangerfjord and Norheimsund and further on to Bergen, second largest city of Norway and gateway to the fjords - and unfortunately the most rainy city!
We took the funicular up to the mount Fløien, but it was raining so heavily that it was impossible to take any pictures with the (usually) stunning view from up there.
After dinner, overnight at Grand Hotel Terminus.
And last but not least, in the morning of Sunday 30th, a little rebus/paper chase around Bergen town and taking pictures of our team at the requested places.
Back to Oslo in the late afternoon.
I guess and hope our clients liked it, learned a lot, and will sell even more of the beautiful spots and fantastic services they have seen and tested :-)
