"Going the distance"

Another unplanned late evening! It happened already so often to us now that we (Jana, Moritz and I) met up, just for something small, nothing that would end up in a late evening which finally DID end up kind of late at night.

One of those "nothing-late-evenings" was again now on Friday 05/11. After a busy work week we decided to only go to the movies. We all met up after work, walked over to the cinema to get the tickets and spent the time waiting for the film to start at Burger King. Yes, junk food... it sometimes just tastes good and you feel like it! And all three of us were hungry. Also the time we spent there talking was very nice. As usual when we do something together.

Anyway, there was nothing too special on, only a comedy film called "Going the Distance" sounded quite alright. It was about a long distance relationship and everything that belongs to it...

Since we all three, Jana, Moritz and I, are all in the same situation of living a long distance relationship, it was kind of the "perfect" film for us. Of course a "girls film", but it simply fit us; we experience(d) the same problems, know pretty well the hard situation of saying good bye at the airport over and over again, ...

Well, nothing special, but nice and relaxing for that evening.

We went for an early evening show so the film was already over by around 8 p.m. Since that was a bit too early for separating and each going home, we decided so gather for a drink at my place which was just around the corner of the cinema. As usual, we had good conversations which never let us realise how quickly time flies. It was rather by accident that someone had a look at the clock which made us realise that it was already 2 a.m. At that point we called it a night and split up.

Again, a good evening among friends!
