Nice evening! It started a bit weird, but turned out to be really great!
The Rezidor Hotel Group invited at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Oslo for a kind of supplier meeting and exhibition, called MEET2010. Floriane (our trainee at Terra Nova), Wiebke (from Scandinavian Image) and Moritz had subscribed for the event.
We went there together at around 16:30 and were welcomed by some littel snacks and drinks. This was followed by some talk in a conference room. One speech was hold by some guy in Norwegian, but with a super strong Stavanger dialect, thus simply impossible to understand. The second one was a speech by the General Director of the Red Cross. Damn was that guy boring to listen to.
After nearly two hours in which nearly everyone in the conference room fell asleep those lectures were over. All guests were handed out a quiz about the various worldwide hotels of the Rezidor Group. Since we, Terra Nova, don't use their hotels a lot, it wasn't of such a big interest to kind of doing business there, especially since we are an incoming tour operator which consequently doesn't deal with hotels outside of Scandinavia.
So our all focus was on finding the right answers to the quiz hoping to be one of the lucky ones to win something great. Unfortunatly non of us did in the end.
Anyway, by 19:30 the info session with the various suppliers was over and a really good and tasty 3 courses menu (reindeer, halibut and chocolate dessert) was on the programme in the ball room, accompanied by music and live entertainment. We had our seats at a round table together with a woman from the Radisson Hotel at Arlanda Airport in Stockholm. She was really friendly and it was interesting to talk to her while enjoying the evening.

The guy on the left was acutally playing his guitar with a violin bow!
I've never seen that before! Very interesting!
And also the ensemble from "Wallman's Salonger" contributed to the show with some performances.
