Finally an entire weekend full of sun AND warm temperatures. While the last weeks had been a mix of cloudy and sunny, but with unstable temperatures around 20°C, this weekend Oslo reached some 25°C :-)
So on Saturday Marco and I went for a spontaneous bike ride and ended up at the Huk beach on the peninsula of Bygdøy. Even more spontaneous was our little BBQ - Norwegian style with the typical "single use grill" and "pølse" (hot dog sausages).
The fantastic weather continued even on Sunday. In the morning we already had our first breakfast on the balcony - lovely!
Then Marco went to play soccer with some friends while I met up with Jana and a friend of hers. We took the ferry over to one of the islands in the Oslofjord, to the beach at Hovedøya.
And guess what: we had another BBQ :-) This weather just calls for BBQ! On top of that we enjoyed to walk around the flat water - accompanied by a few gooses.
Later on, right when the meat was ready, Marco joined as well - and was surprised of how warm the water could be in Norway :-)
Dear Weather, pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaase stay a while like this! It's so nice! It's summer!
