On the 21st of April it was Audrey's birthday!
She had been in France, though, for that week, but upon her return she invited Jana and me for a dinner at her place.
Audrey wasn't sure whether to do something for her birthday or not, so she didn't announce it in advance and thus it turned out to be just the small group of the three of us cooking something together. The dishes were pretty much characterised by coconut :-)
Starter: creamy carrot soup with coconut milk and ginger
Main dish: rice with fried chicken and mushrooms in coconut sauce
Dessert: coconut dough with a light vanilla cream and peaches
I think I have never eaten that much coconut in one evening :-) But it was yummy!
