Lofotkveld på Kulinarisk Akademi

Last wednesday on 30th of November, the companies "Det Virkelig Gode Liv" (The GreatLife Company consisting of a collection of beautiful places of any kind like restaurant, accomodation, with focus on tradition and local culture), "HRG" (Hogg Robinson Group offering corporate travel services) and "Hurtigruten" (the Norwegian Costal Steamer company) invited to a culinary Lofoten experience at the "Kulinarisk Akademi" in Oslo.
My colleagues Michelle, Wiebke and Stéphanie as well as I had registered for that Lofoten-inspired evening.
It actually took us a while to find that place "Kulinarisk Akademi", but we eventually made it. It's a cooking academy with highly regarded chefs and sommeliers working with newly educated cooks and wine waiters to further develop their skills in various courses. Their work highly focuses and emphasises on Norwegian food. Three tourism related companies had invited for a dinner at that place during which they presented various aspects of the Lofoten.

The evening was a mix of Lofoten-based 3-courses dinner, entertainment and presentations about this wonderful place.

And Hurtigruten contributed with their typical rain hats... Beautiful!!!

I didn't dare taking more pictures as the situation wasn't appropriate... But the dinner was reaaaaaaally nice! Only after the dessert they artificially draged the end of the evening out. Since Michelle at one point had to leave to catch her train back home we all four used the occasion to leave the event.
